ÖSBYSCHOOL IS LOOKING FOR A RECREATION PEDAGOGUE/RESOURCE PEDAGOGUE IN AFTER-SCHOOL CARE

About the position

A valued colleague is retiring and Ösbyschool is looking for you as a recreation pedagogue/resource pedagogue in after-school care. You will work in one of our class teams and at the after-school center. We work a lot outdoors, with creative activities and with a conscious language development approach. Together with the other staff, you will ensure that the operations maintain a high pedagogical standard.

Qualifications

It is important to us that your leadership is clear and that you work in a structured way. You should be well acquainted with the tasks of preschool classes, schools, and after-school care and be able to work towards their development.

As a person, you are curious, stable, and engaged and want to develop in your work. You have the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. You have a positive attitude, convey joy, and see all children's strengths and opportunities. It is important for you to let students be involved and have influence over their learning. You have high expectations and can meet students with both support and challenges based on their needs. You collaborate well with colleagues and are happy to share your knowledge and want to learn together with others, while also being able to drive your own work forward. You have good digital competence and are curious about trying new methods and tools. We place great importance on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have outdoor pedagogy or a sports orientation.

About Ösbyschool

Ösbyschool is located in the heart of Djursholm. We are an independent F-3 school with 100 students where everyone knows each other, both big and small. The smallness is important to us, it gives both students and teachers peace of mind and time to find joy in learning. We have a high staff density with at least two educators in each class team. The school is highly appreciated by students, parents, and staff.
