Job Description

In the role of property technician, you will work with the operation, supervision, and maintenance of Alingsåshem's premises such as the municipality's care and nursing homes, administrative offices, schools, and preschools as well as industrial premises. You are responsible for the operation of several properties together with your team and ensure that internal and external maintenance is conducted optimally. You maintain close contact and continuous communication with both customers and colleagues.

Much of the work within our properties is managed digitally, and you will work with digital systems for case management, media monitoring, and reporting. You will participate in ongoing maintenance planning together with our property managers and, if necessary, hire and coordinate contractors for maintenance tasks.

You will also work with:

• Preventive and planned maintenance.
• Monitoring control systems for heating, electricity, ventilation, etc.
• Ordering and responsibility for minor maintenance measures.
• Ensuring customer information before and after actions such as repairs.
• Creating good quality and safety during visits to premises and apartments.
• Control of contracted and performed services.
• Participation in the organization's ongoing follow-up and deviation management.

As a property technician, you will be part of the department for the business area of premises where you, together with your colleagues, property technicians, and property managers, work to achieve the organization's goals, in close collaboration with other colleagues within the company. You report to the business area manager for premises.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with work experience from a similar role such as property technician, caretaker, or equivalent that involves work with property-related issues. Or perhaps you want to take the step from an education in property technology to a job in the industry? We see that you have good competence in maintenance, supervision, and care of properties. You also have basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems and are used to working digitally. Since we communicate with both customers and colleagues, very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.

In the role of property technician, you will actively work to develop and maintain good customer relationships with tenants. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys many social contacts, has strong communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach with the ability to make decisions. It is important that you are flexible and able to adapt based on what happens in the organization and which issues need to be prioritized. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Start as soon as possible by agreement. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday with flexible hours. A probationary period may be applied.
