Your Role

You will lead the work regarding Configuration and Information Management for the products developed for our airborne radar and surveillance systems. The products have a lifespan of over twenty years, and CM is managed throughout the entire lifecycle. The products are extensive and include both software and hardware, and in the role of CM, you will maintain close contact with the design instances where the hardware and software are developed.

You will be part of the program/project management teams and have close contact with project and sub-project leaders. You will lead and participate in strategic CM & IM work between different Business Areas within SAAB.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist program/project management in leading and structuring programs/projects and documentation
• Control and manage changes and their associated documentation
• Participate in reviews
• Lead CCB meetings (Configuration Control Board), which aim to maintain the product's clear configuration and ensure that product changes are considered wisely
• Contribute to business development and streamline our working methods
• Be part of Saab's strategic work regarding CM & IM and participate in the development of SCIL, Saab Corporate Information Landscape.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with broad technical competence, good leadership skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities. For the position of Configuration and Information Manager, it is advantageous to have:

• Good business understanding and customer focus
• Knowledge and understanding of working in an international environment
• A structured approach and good analytical skills
• The ability to work independently
• Previous experience in Configuration and Information Management or product lifecycle issues
• Experience in design work
• Experience in leadership roles
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
