Your tasks – lead investigation work for the energy systems of the future
The System Analysis and Statistics department is tasked with analyzing the energy system and its transition to assist the government and other decision-makers with adequate foundations. This may involve questions regarding electrification, increased use and production of electricity, the transition of the transport sector, increased user flexibility, or the need for more efficient energy use. There are also many different driving forces that affect the development forward. Governance and goals from both the EU and nationally, an uncertain global situation, technological development and choices, economic conditions, and demand for fossil-free products. The various parts of the energy system are strongly interconnected, where changes in one part have consequences in other parts, which is why the analyses require system thinking and the ability to analyze questions in several steps. We work to create conditions for a competitive, secure, and ecologically sustainable energy transition – that’s why we need you!
As an Investigator Leader, you will be part of the System Analysis and Statistics department where you will work broadly on issues related to the entire energy system. Additionally, you will also play an important role in the Swedish Energy Agency's work to disseminate knowledge about the energy system to society at large. We place great importance on personal qualities. We are looking for someone who creates participation and has the ability to lead and coordinate groups. You will work in various constellations, which is why we value good collaboration skills and that you are receptive and constructive in your way of communicating.
