As a controller at H&M DC in Eskilstuna, no day is the same. In broad collaboration with other units, you and your colleagues will be involved in analyses, calculations, and planning for both large and small change projects. Additionally, you will of course have your calendar-driven reporting and support for the departments.

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as a controller, an interest and ability in analysis, and a desire to develop your leadership by being the head of the controller unit. You will have a central role in the organization. On the other hand, many at H&M DC have central roles because you are all equally important in the interaction.

The DC is characterized by collaboration, interesting internal change projects, and optimization of logistics flows. And by the fact that people seem to stay or come back.

Main tasks and responsibilities as head of the Controller unit

Your self-driven team consists of two Operations Controllers and two DC planners. You will calculate scenarios during process changes, drive the planning of change projects, be responsible for logistics planning (including scheduling and staffing planning), and coordinate budget and forecasting work for about twenty departments. In your role, you are a very operational Controller and also the head of the team.

Examples of tasks and responsibilities in the role:

· Develop and communicate strategies related to planning, efficiency, and costs within the DC

· Follow up on budget, projects, and KPIs in the organization

· Lead and develop your controlling team

· Support the departments with financial reports

· Contribute with analyses and calculations

· Reporting to the Regional Controller

You will be part of the DC management team. You are organizationally directly subordinate to the DC Manager and report to the Regional Controller.

The organization is undergoing constant improvement of the logistics flow, and all changes are negotiated in a local negotiation group where you contribute with financial information.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone with an academic education and a few years of experience as a Business Controller, Financial Controller, or equivalent.

You are used to working with analysis and project support in change processes and internal projects. Your Excel skills are likely above average, and you have an interest in BI applications.

Your previous leadership experience may have come from being a team leader, change leader, or perhaps through personal interests, realizing that you want to continue developing in a leadership role.

You need to be proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meriting: Experience working in SAP or Synapps personnel planning systems and experience in driving or initiating projects.

Personal qualities

We are looking for an analytical person who is communicative, pedagogical, and inspired by collaboration with both your closest colleagues and other departments. A willingness to contribute and challenge the organization is appreciated. If you have previous experience collaborating in internal negotiation groups regarding changes, that is an advantage. You are proactive and like to stay one step ahead.
