Are you a responsible and committed individual who wants to make a difference and contribute to safety within a vital societal operation? We are now looking for a business developer who will play a key role in developing and coordinating safety work in our project department, in close collaboration with both internal and external parties. You will have a central position in a work environment where safety and responsibility are in focus, and where your work makes a difference every day.
We own, develop, and manage properties for total defense. Our main mission is to contribute to increased defense capability – for a safe and free Sweden.
Your role as a business developer
As a business developer, you will be an important resource in strengthening and developing our safety work, particularly in the areas of security protection and information security. You will be the department's contact person with the authority's security department and have a central role in coordinating and supporting security-related tasks, both operationally and strategically in construction project activities.
You will work a lot in teams together with managers, project leaders, and the department's other staff and support resources. In your role, you will develop routines, templates, and support within security protection. The position is broad when it comes to various types of support functions that you will provide, such as supporting and educating in security issues related to construction projects, handling documents, establishing security analyses, and coordinating the department's information security work.
Qualifications
Higher education or secondary education with complementary relevant training in the field of security and confidentiality. Alternatively, several years of work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent competence.
In addition to education, you have previously worked with security and confidentiality issues, including information security. You have good administrative skills and several years of experience working with IT system support. You have good knowledge of Swedish and Swedish citizenship. Since travel is required in the position, a B driver's license is also a requirement.
It is advantageous if you have experience from the activities of the Fortifications Agency, preferably within construction and/or knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations. Experience from the construction industry and work experience from industries with a high security mindset are also advantageous.
Your personal qualities are important to us.
To fit into the role, you are a collaborative person who focuses on common goals without prestige. You work in a structured manner, complete what you have started, and meet your deadlines. It is also important that you stay updated in your area of expertise and are analytical, being able to see logic and connections in complex information and environments.
What do we offer you?
Together with about 1200 colleagues at the Fortifications Agency across the country, you work with a unique property portfolio to strengthen total defense in Sweden. We are proud of the vital societal mission we have, where we build, manage, operate, and develop advanced technology in critical buildings. Our tasks are varied, exciting, and challenging, requiring their competence. We work according to the state value framework and its principles, and we strive for an even gender distribution. Equal rights and opportunities are important to us.
Here you will have good opportunities for professional development and access to good benefits. We also work to ensure that you can have a good balance between work and leisure.
About the employment
The position is a permanent employment. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment at the Fortifications Agency is security classified. This means that a security review and background check will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences; if you have protected personal data, please contact the recruitment specialist named for assistance in submitting your application.
