About the hospital and the hematology unit:
The hospital offers one of the largest and most specialized hematology care units in the Nordic countries, distributed across three different units in the city. Here, highly specialized hematological care is provided with a focus on advanced diagnostics and treatment of blood diseases. The unit is a leading player in the field and continuously works to improve and develop care models to meet patients' needs in the best possible way.
In addition to clinical care, the hospital has a strong research focus and is engaged in both basic research and clinical studies. The unit is also responsible for training new specialists in hematology, and there are good opportunities to combine clinical work with academic and pedagogical assignments.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a specialist in hematology and has experience in the field. It is an advantage if you are also a specialist in internal medicine.
- Has a strong interest in teaching and wants to contribute to the education of future doctors and specialists.
- Is engaged in research and wants to participate in the development of new treatment methods and medical innovation.
- Is a good collaborator who enjoys working in a team, both with colleagues and patients.
- Is flexible and can adapt to different work environments and tasks, with a strong focus on the patient's best interests.
