About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a craft teacher, you will spark students' curiosity and guide them through creative challenges – from idea to finished product.

In the craft subject, theory and practice are combined in creative processes. You will teach students in the craft subject from grades 3-9. Together with the existing craft teachers at the school, you will be responsible for further developing the craft subject.

In your teaching, students will develop their skills in various crafts and their ability to work with different materials and forms of expression. You will plan, conduct, and evaluate your teaching with a clear basis in current governing documents. You will actively participate in the collegial work within our teaching team. Mentorship is included in the position.

You inspire our students to be creative and contribute to a joyful learning experience in your subject. The school has suitable facilities for both wood/metal and textile crafts.

We are looking for you

We are primarily looking for a qualified teacher in textile crafts, but we are also interested in candidates with other relevant education and experience.

You have a positive and flexible approach to students' varying needs. Adapting teaching based on students' different requirements is a given for you, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. You have a strong ability to build sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and school leadership, and you demonstrate clear yet relational leadership in your teaching. You are responsible in your duties and actively contribute to a good and pleasant working environment.

As a person, you are clear, calm, and secure. You have good collaboration skills and are relationship-oriented. A positive attitude and flexibility are highly valued.

The position will be filled on the condition that it is not required by an already employed staff member.
