Technical Manager at Willhem in Gothenburg

Willhem is now taking a major step to upgrade its property portfolio, both operationally and technically, and is expanding the organization with a technical manager. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference on our journey forward with their technical expertise!

Willhem Gothenburg owns and manages about 4000 apartments spread across several areas, with the majority in Biskopsgården, Bergsjön, and Partille. We are now looking for a technical manager who will be based at our area office in Biskopsgården. Here you will be welcomed by a dozen colleagues; area manager, assistant manager, and property managers. We have a good collaboration with our colleagues at the office in Bergsjön where you will also have a close colleague in another technical manager.

Together, we are a close-knit team that puts the team before the individual, with an open atmosphere and a lot of engagement.

About the Role

As a technical manager, your focus will be on well-being and long-term sustainable properties, and your operational and construction technical knowledge will be a welcome contribution to Gothenburg's management. You will be responsible for ensuring that our portfolio is maintained and developed cost-effectively and with quality operations. In your role, you will carry out several maintenance projects in our portfolio and handle damages. An important part will be to assess, from your holistic perspective, which measures will be most beneficial in achieving our business goals. You report to the area manager and sit on the local management team.

Examples of tasks:

· Damage management including the operation of insurance cases related to these

· Plan and drive smaller projects within operations, maintenance, and renovation.

· Participate in the procurement of framework agreements

· Be an active part of Willhem Gothenburg's maintenance and business planning

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, plan and budget for measures

· Support and further develop property managers in their daily work.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education in areas such as operations, building technology, or management, or equivalent work experience.

To enter the role effectively, we see that you have several years of work experience that has given you the skills to manage smaller projects and handle damages with accompanying insurance cases. You have an understanding of the overall management, which helps you prioritize and make the best decisions based on the situation. If you also have knowledge in operations and energy efficiency, that is a plus. A driver's license is also required for the role.
