Chef to Lerum Municipality

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who is seeking a varied and enjoyable job where you have the opportunity to make a difference for our meal guests by serving good food in a pleasant manner.

As a chef, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and serving of high-quality dishes. Dishwashing and cleaning are also part of the assignment. There is a lot of work with special diets involved, requiring knowledge of how to work with different allergens and also work with digital self-control.

The meal service serves two meals every day, of which at least one is an environmental meal. We want our meal guests to look forward to their meals every day, and therefore we want to offer attractive meals that suit everyone. We offer you a developing assignment where your experience and passion for meals contribute to a better everyday life for our meal guests.

We are now looking for a chef for our production kitchen at Alléskolan in Floda, located in Lerum Municipality. We prepare approximately 1,250 portions daily, of which about 500 portions are served in the school restaurant at Alléskolan.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is used to working independently in a restaurant or large kitchen, has a willingness to learn, is flexible, service-oriented, and has good collaboration skills.

We see that you have education from hotel and restaurant, hot and cold kitchen, or experience in cooking in a large kitchen/restaurant kitchen for at least 3 years. As a chef, you should be able to independently perform all tasks in a kitchen, prepare special diets, and carry out self-control. Experience is required.

Since the job also requires documentation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
