Café & Bar Grindstugan is located just inside the gates of Trädgårdsföreningen, opposite Bältespännarparken & Stora teatern. Right in the heart of Gothenburg! Our season runs during the spring and summer period until autumn truly sets in. In spring, we open the gates to our large beautiful outdoor seating area that attracts our lovely guests to visit us. We serve food, drinks, and treats from the café, kitchen, and bar from the moment we open for the day until we close for the evening/night. We offer wonderful and fantastic troubadour evenings several nights a week.

We are looking for cooks to our small kitchen at Café & Bar Grindstugan for another wonderful and action-packed spring and summer season!

As an applicant, you should have a love for cooking that makes you always take that little extra moment to ensure that the guest will be just as satisfied with what they see on the plate as their taste buds will convey! You will work both independently and in a team. Our head chef is primarily responsible for and manages purchases, planning, the menu, etc. But we are a small team working in the kitchen, so everyone shares the common responsibility for ensuring that the kitchen is run exemplary, and new thoughts and ideas are, of course, welcome!

We are looking for driven, engaged, inventive, flexible, stress-resistant, and cheerful employees who love working with food and who place equal importance on cooking with great commitment and making sure it looks irresistibly appetizing when served on the plate.

We do not have large spaces to spread out in, so you must have a positive attitude, a great ability to organize, and a tidy mindset. We do not only focus on education and experience, but it is very important to us that the right person is in the right place. We look forward to your application! We can offer both full-time and part-time positions. We will hire starting in April to be a wonderful, stable, positive team with plenty of drive to tackle our action-packed high season that really kicks into high gear after Midsummer!

Documented relevant education and experience are required. However, what weighs most heavily is experience combined with the right person in the right place! Those applying must be able to work independently as well as in a team. The desire for flexibility is based on the fact that the workplace is highly weather-dependent and has varying working hours during both weekdays and weekends.
