Home Hotel is a brand new concept with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a place that feels like home, even when you are away. We are now looking for a chef for Home Hotel Mektagonen in Gothenburg who wants to be part of our team during the spring and summer of 2025.

Home Hotel Mektagonen is located in the southern part of Gothenburg and is within walking distance of Liseberg, Universeum, and Scandinavium. Here, guests stay in large, cozy rooms and the hotel offers breakfast buffet, afternoon snacks, and dinner. This unique food concept and our homemade dinners are among the main reasons our guests choose to stay with us.

About the position:

• Prepare and serve delicious and appealing food to our dinner guests.
• Together with the kitchen team, assist with purchasing and inventory.
• Develop our concept and menu planning together with the FnB Manager and the team.
• Shifts are scheduled for both evenings and weekends.
• You report to the FnB manager/chef.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a smooth and pleasant stay for all guests.

About you:

• You have a good sense of taste and are always curious about new flavors and dishes.
• You are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a professional and personal attitude towards colleagues and guests.
• You have documented experience as a chef for at least 3 years.
• You are a team player and see the kitchen as a unit.
• You have a lot of energy, courage, and enthusiasm.
• You speak and write Swedish and English.
