Our client is a global leader in the development of sustainable shipping. The company specializes in advanced automation and information systems for motion control of all types of container cranes worldwide. They are known for their expertise in electric propulsion, data-driven decision support, and integrated solutions for vessels and cranes. Through their operations, our client paves the way for a zero-emission maritime industry, increasing the efficiency and reliability for crane and vessel owners while preparing them to meet future demands.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In your role, you will work on the design and development of software for exciting projects. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology and take responsibility for various phases of the project. Part of the job will involve traveling to customers around the world.

Your tasks will include designing project-specific software and maintaining regular contact with both internal and external parties. You will play a central role in the project and collaborate with different parts of the organization.

This position provides you with an excellent foundation for further career development, whether in technology, project management, or sales. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills while working on innovative solutions and contributing to the company's success.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, embedded systems, or equivalent education.
• You have knowledge of PLC programming or equivalent, such as C++.
• Since you will have regular contact with customers and colleagues, it is important that you are fluent in English. Good knowledge of Swedish is highly meritorious.

For this role, it is also important that you have a strong personal drive and a willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills. You should be a good communicator and have strong collaboration skills.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Start: upon agreement

Location: Västerås

Employment type: You will work as a consultant for 12 months with the ambition to be directly employed by the client thereafter.
