Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be a central part of their technical team in Västerås.

In this role, you will work with planning, design, development, testing, installation, and coordination of activities involving electrical and electronic components and systems, including automation. You will also coordinate internal activities and collaborate with other groups to effectively achieve goals that require knowledge in related functions and engineering areas.

As a Senior Engineer, you will lead other engineers and independently perform various engineering tasks that require sound judgment and application of standardized engineering principles and methods. You will be responsible for leading, planning, executing, and coordinating a range of complex engineering activities that encompass multiple engineering disciplines. You will act as a consultant to management and customers on advanced technical issues, their potential application, and solving complex problems. Your work will have a significant impact on the company and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engineering activities involving electrical and electronic systems, including automation.
• Lead and coordinate complex engineering projects.
• Act as a consultant for both internal management and customers on technical issues and solutions.
• Ensure high quality in all technical solutions and conduct analyses and reports.
• Proactively identify and implement measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate major engineering tasks that have a significant impact on the client's operations.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of work experience in a relevant field, including leadership and/or management experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education, or 15+ years of work experience in a relevant field.
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience working independently as well as leading and supporting other engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical issues.
