Our client is a world-leading provider of advanced automation and information systems for motion control of container cranes. Operating globally, they offer innovative crane systems that optimize efficiency and performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting both customers and colleagues in electrical design solutions, software applications, and electrical drive systems. The business includes global delivery projects for advanced automated systems, and as a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth project execution as well as top-notch support during commissioning and operation.

You will collaborate with international colleagues, where you will have the opportunity to share and implement best practices and provide technical support to solve challenges around the world.

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in automation.
• Experience with PLC programming.
• Strong self-motivation, curiosity, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Location: Västerås

Employment type: This is a consulting assignment with the possibility of being hired directly by the client.
