Technical Manager at the Technical and Property Management

The Technical and Property Management has the overall ownership responsibility for the city's properties. The properties are either owned or rented premises and residences.

Within the Property Unit, there are specialists in areas such as management, project management, technology, fire, and safety. You will work within the Educational Premises department, which is responsible for the management of the city's preschools, schools, and high schools.

Your Responsibilities

You will work on behalf of our property managers and provide them with specialist support in the technical issues that arise regarding the properties. You will be part of a team with two other technical managers, and together you will support five property managers. Your workplace and starting point is the city hall, but you will move around a lot in the various properties during working days.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Operational optimization and maintenance planning
• Providing expertise in technical issues regarding HVAC and control technology
• Collaborating with the city's external operational suppliers to optimize the operation of the city's properties
• Planning and implementing maintenance measures and maintenance projects
• Participating in operational planning, renovations, and tenant adaptations
• Being responsible for actions regarding authority inspections

Your Competence

You have either education in a relevant field such as property management or several years of experience in the area. You have knowledge of property technical installations and operational optimization systems. It is an advantage if you have previously worked as an operational technician, technical manager, or operational engineer and have knowledge of a property system such as Faciliate. To ensure good and safe communication, we require good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You hold a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.
