About the position

In the role of electrical designer, you will be an important part of a group of engineers and specialists creating and designing new data communication products. You will work closely with the hardware in projects where you are a resource for designing and optimizing circuit boards. You are responsible for ensuring that the components fit, that signals and storage work efficiently, and that standard requirements are met. The process also includes review meetings and testing, where you work to ensure the quality and functionality of the products. The role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in electronic design and ECAD in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Selection of tasks:

• Design and develop circuits for routers and switches
• Testing, development, and construction of circuit boards

About you

You are a detail-oriented person with a technical mindset and a strong ability to communicate. You take responsibility for your work and drive it forward independently while maintaining a good collaborative perspective. You enjoy working in a communicative role, where you have many internal contacts and collaborate closely with others, including the factory. You have specialist expertise and enjoy explaining and sharing your knowledge with others. You prioritize correctly and are driven by high quality in everything you do, valuing both trust and teamwork in your daily work. You are always curious to learn new things and contribute to the development of the team.

Mandatory requirements for the position:

• Education in electronics
• Experience in electronic design
• English spoken and written
• Familiarity with ECAD tools, such as Mentor Graphics

Meritorious

• Previous experience in the railway or energy sector
• Swedish spoken and written
• Previous work in Mentor Graphics

About the client company

Our client designs and manufactures data communication products for critical systems in physically demanding environments. The products are used in both public infrastructure, such as transport, water, and energy supply, as well as in process industries, such as mining and petrochemicals.
