Description

Do you want a developing and varied job? If you are service-oriented and wish to work with municipal properties, we can offer an attractive position!

Olofström Municipality has a property portfolio of approximately 85,000 square meters. The property portfolio mainly consists of schools, preschools, as well as housing and cultural and recreational facilities. In the role of property engineer, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for managing and developing the municipality's property portfolio. The property unit also includes an operations unit responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties as well as the municipality's transportation.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

Managing maintenance measures in various projects
Handling housing adaptation cases together with the property administrator
Participating in the development of routines and systems for property management
Developing and managing the municipality's various technical systems for, for example, perimeter security and fire protection
Contact with contractors, consultants, tenants, and operations staff

The tasks may change over time.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of professional experience in the construction and property sector. You have an engineering degree or other education or work experience deemed equivalent. You have knowledge of building structures. You are IT-savvy and can quickly familiarize yourself with various IT systems. You have good knowledge of Swedish and can express yourself well in both speech and writing. A B driver's license is required.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of:

Property economics
Contract law
The Public Procurement Act (LOU)
Property administrative systems
Accessibility adaptation

It is also advantageous if you have work experience from:

Property maintenance projects
Employment in or work for public sector
Perimeter security
Fire protection
Housing adaptation or other regulatory activities
Inspections of residential buildings

Personal Qualities

You have good collaboration skills and can build strong relationships. You can analyze and solve problems. As a person, you are structured, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive processes forward. Personal suitability is highly valued.
