Project Manager for Land and Construction

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a project manager for land and construction, you will work on implementing approved new construction and renovation on municipal land, as well as investigations and calculations in the early stages of the detailed planning and development process. It is an exciting assignment that means you will influence how roads, facilities, and public spaces are designed. The assignment is carried out with the aim of creating as much benefit as possible for the citizens.

As a project manager, you will lead and participate in projects with a clear goal focus, a strong economic awareness, and knowledge of what works in practice, as well as a great interest in design issues. All procurement is conducted according to the Public Procurement Act, LOU. You have significant responsibility for projects and investigations while we within the group utilize each other's strengths and knowledge and develop our operations and working methods together.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

You are a graduate engineer, civil engineer, or have other education and experience suitable for the assignment, which the employer considers relevant and sufficient for the role.

You should have several years of work experience from contracting, consulting, or client organizations within the construction field.

You should have good experience in project management and/or project design management within the construction field. A B driver's license is required for the position.

Desirable experiences:

• Many years of experience from contracting or consulting companies
• Many years of experience from client organizations within land and construction
• Good experience in calculations and/or budget and forecasting work
• Negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of construction law
• Computer proficiency
