Project Manager Submarine Maintenance

Your Role

As a project manager, you will lead and coordinate the work on our maintenance projects for the Swedish Navy's submarines. This may involve preventive and corrective maintenance, general overhauls, and minor modifications. As a project manager, you are responsible for structuring, planning, executing, and following up on the assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects, your points of contact are both internal and external regarding information, progress, priorities, and resources
• Create and follow up on timelines and activity plans for the project
• Cross-functional coordination of production activities
• Monitor costs, quality, and timelines for the project

This is an independent and flexible role where significant responsibility lies with you to steer and drive your projects to completion together with your colleagues. Requirements

• Relevant university/college education, YH/KY education
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• A couple of years of experience in project management.
• Leadership training, basic economic and commercial education, project administrative training
• Experience from the Armed Forces or the Defence Material Administration (FMV)
• Formal project management training or equivalent certification
• Marine vessel knowledge

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
