We are currently looking for you who want to be a part of our wonderful team this summer and work as a personal assistant in Örnsköldsvik and surrounding areas!

What does the job of a personal assistant involve?

As a personal assistant, you work with a person with a disability. You help with the everyday tasks that many take for granted, such as dressing, taking care of the home, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a big difference and help another person's daily life function.

We have clients of different ages and with various disabilities. Your workplace is where the client is, and the job is both varied and eventful. Contributing every day to help a person live their life as they wish is, in our opinion, the most important job in the world.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. Regardless of your age, life situation, and background, you could be the assistant we are looking for.

Since some workplaces are located outside of Örnsköldsvik, you may need a driver's license and access to a car to get to and from work.

Some of our clients have pets or participate in activities with animals and swimming. As an assistant, you will be involved in these situations. It is important that you can be with the client in these situations.

We prefer that you are smoke-free during your working hours.

We would like you to start working as a substitute for the client already in the spring. This is so that you and the client can feel comfortable working together before the summer.

We hope that you:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• can understand and speak good Swedish.
• can work flexible hours - days, evenings, and weekends. Some of our services also require that you can work nights.
• have experience in care and support. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).

Employment type: On-demand employment and summer substitute

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: Ongoing during spring 2025 for summer jobs in July and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required under the Aliens Ordinance.
