Description

The Activity House Pangea is a meeting place for the residents of Timrå of all ages.

Here, there are opportunities for community, learning, and development within culture and creativity, sports, and health. We run an activity house for the entire municipality, focusing primarily on children, youth, and seniors. We conduct open activities for elementary and middle school students, as well as various types of activities for seniors. We also host over 30 associations of different kinds each week that carry out broad and varied activities in our facilities. In addition, we organize many different public events and family activities in both culture and sports.

We are now looking for substitutes who can step in at short notice. We are looking for someone with a low-stress approach who has good experience working with children and youth in an active work environment. The position includes evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that our visitors aged 0-99+ feel safe and welcome in the Activity House Pangea's premises. In addition, you will participate in planned activities for our various target groups.

Qualifications

We see that you have high social competence and a good ability to communicate with both children and youth as well as seniors, as communication is a significant part of the job. Pedagogical competence and experience working with children and youth in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas are meritorious.

We would like you to have some form of cultural or pedagogical education, e.g., leisure leader training or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

Conditions

A valid extract from the criminal record for work with children and youth outside of school is a prerequisite for employment. The position is a part-time employment as needed and may be filled before the application period ends.
