The municipality of Sundsvall has approximately 8000 employees and is significant for our society. We are Sundsvall's largest employer with several workplaces within various operations and around 300 different professions.

The municipality has a large mission to create benefits for all our residents. Regardless of the operation, we work for the same goal: to be a good place to live, thrive, and work.

Sundsvall municipality is in an exciting phase. Our municipality participates in the green transition in Northern Sweden. We are convinced that the right places for this transition are here. As a municipality, we are fully preparing to grow by preparing land, creating new educational opportunities, marketing the municipality, and welcoming new residents from around the world.

The goal of our operations is to provide insights, hope, support, skills, and knowledge to individuals with substance abuse or dependency issues, as well as comorbidity.

The operation works to create motivation, security, and participation for individual homeless persons. The goal is to improve the individual's living situation and support them in developing their ability to be self-sufficient, ultimately leading to independence and, in the long run, the ability to maintain their own housing.

The supported housing consists of 14 apartments and is staffed by seven employees, two of whom work nights. The work consists of scheduled working hours around the clock.

We are now looking for a support assistant to continue developing the support measures for our residents. The responsibility and mandates for how the housing period is structured are done in consultation with the referring social worker and are based on the description of the individual's needs provided by the authority in its assignment. This means that the operation should offer and establish a flexible and individual implementation plan together with the individual.
