Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is calm, resourceful, and responsible. It is also important that you can be inventive, take your own initiatives, and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 9-year-old boy in Härnösand
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• is non-smoker
• has good physical condition
• has a driver's license and access to a car

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have retained a childlike spirit
• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and we are looking for two new assistants for a schedule of 45% each. The position involves work during daytime, afternoon, or evening. The shifts will be scheduled every other weekend in combination with weekdays for both positions.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
