About RMT and what we do

At RMT, we develop a modular platform primarily for environmental and quality management work called RMT+. In the platform, our customers can manage everything from documents, cases, contracts, deviations, processes, risks, or really any type of information.

Our customers range from large to smaller companies in industries with high demands for control and follow-up, such as life sciences, food, and production. We have customers both in and outside of Sweden. The uniqueness of RMT+ lies in its technical architecture, which provides exceptional adaptability. This gives our customers great freedom to customize their information management as they wish, while also making it easier for us to develop new features and modules.

RMT has been around since 1982, but in recent years we have restructured our operations and business model to become the product company we are today. We are now in an expansive phase with a focus on growth.

Your responsibilities

One of our skilled developers is moving on after a long and loyal service.

Therefore, we need to strengthen our team with a backend-focused developer.

The main focus of our work moving forward is to develop our customer offering for RMT+ and its modules. We have several new modules and expanded functionality in the pipeline, as well as increased support for cross-platform usage.

You will work both on product development according to our own development plan and on customizations or additions to the platform at the request of our customers. You will work closely with the other three developers in the creation and development process. Together, you will decide on the best choices for design, architecture, execution, and testing based on your different areas of expertise and interest. Your colleagues are experienced and well-versed in the platform.

• We work in Microsoft's development environment .NET Core /C# /SQL. The frontend is React and TypeScript.
• The service is hosted in Microsoft Azure, where we work with AI Search, Logic apps, Azure functions, Microsoft Graph, PowerBI, and EntraID.

More about you

To succeed in the role, we see that you have at least 2-3 years of programming experience, in addition to any studies, but your education, experience, and background can vary. If you have more experience, that is certainly a positive, and we can adapt the role to your experience.

Since we are a small team, it is beneficial if you have an interest in at least understanding the other parts, even though this role we are looking for now is focused on backend. If you have interest and ambition, we welcome you to move towards fullstack.

We have a strong focus on technology, and for most of us, technology is also a personal interest, so we hope you genuinely like technology. Interest and experience in technology in general are therefore something we look for particularly. We also believe that you are a person who appreciates a smaller organization. The informal atmosphere appeals to you, and you want to vary tasks, have a significant influence on your work and daily life, and like the idea of being part of creating a great product. You can take initiative and focus on solving what we have in front of us.

Since you will have external contacts in your role, it is good if you can understand and communicate in Swedish and English. Other language skills are, of course, a plus.

Your team and workplace

We are currently located in large, private premises at Skytteholmsparken in Solna with access to parking and close to good communication links. We usually meet at the office two days a week. You will be two developers in the team at the office, plus two colleagues who work remotely. The plan is to expand the team further as needed.

It is important to us that the job feels enjoyable and that the atmosphere is relaxed and open. We are ambitious, and all initiatives are welcome, whether it concerns new technology we should try or a fun activity to do on a quiet afternoon.

Compensation

Fixed salary. We have a collective agreement with Almega IT companies.

This is a full-time job. Start date by agreement. Quick start possible, but of course, we will consider requests for summer leave or desired start after the summer.
