About the job

The work involves you, as a Population Registration Officer, registering, investigating, and making decisions on various population registration matters. You will request additional information via phone and mail in contact with individuals and other authorities. Your tasks as an officer also include handling requests for the release of public documents. You will handle a large number of cases, but there may also be more qualified cases where an assessment needs to be made based on applicable laws and regulations. Requests for release come from public actors and the general public. You will provide information from the Tax Agency's operational system, and in some cases, you will need to conduct a confidentiality assessment.

The breadth and complexity of the work's content are determined based on the needs of the operation. You plan your own workday and drive your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. You work closely with your colleagues, and you support and receive support from each other. The work involves many contacts, for example, with customers and other authorities. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong to the Population and Property Department and work in Population Registration Unit 1. Your placement is in Sollefteå. In our three sections that work with population registration matters, we are about 70 employees.

You should also have:

• completed secondary education
• current and relevant work experience in administrative work
• good computer skills and system understanding

It is also desirable that you have good knowledge and/or experience in law.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period. Start as soon as possible.
