We are now looking for a Senior Corporate Economist for Layer Group's finance function in Sundsvall.

About the role

To succeed in the role of Corporate Economist at Layer Group, one should have experience ranging from ongoing accounting to reporting and year-end closing. Experience working with small and medium-sized unlisted companies is an advantage. Some of the tasks include assisting with the onboarding of new companies; establishing chart of accounts and integrating the companies into Layer Group's systems. You will assist with ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and year-end closing work. You will also prepare forecasts and budgets together with the CEOs of the portfolio companies. At the group level, you will submit reports and prepare minutes. The focus on compliance work will increase. You need to be clear and transparent in your communication, and in this role, you will report to the Group Accounting Manager.

Does this sound like you?

We see that you have a post-secondary education in economics and a couple of years of experience in project accounting. As a person, you are used to working in teams with multiple stakeholders, and you are clear and transparent in your communication. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. If you are also engaged in what you undertake, the conditions for finding the right fit at Layer Group are good!
