Job Title: D365 Finance Architect

Location: Stockholm

Duration: Immediate start, long-term

Job Overview:

The D365 Finance Architect will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions tailored to meet the specific business needs. This role involves collaborating closely with finance teams, IT stakeholders, and external partners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, ensuring a seamless integration with business operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design:

• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions.
• Transform business requirements into functional and technical designs while aligning with industry standards and best practices.
• Design scalable and secure systems that enhance financial operations, ensure compliance, and improve reporting accuracy.
• Define and execute integration strategies between D365 Finance and other enterprise systems, including CRM, Supply Chain, and BI tools.

Implementation & Customization:

• Oversee the configuration, customization, and optimization of key D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions and drive the technical validation of designs to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of customizations and system extensions.
• Establish and implement best practices for data migration, performance optimization, and user adoption.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:

• Partner with finance leaders, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define system requirements, priorities, and key deliverables.
• Provide strategic recommendations for system enhancements, automation, and process optimization, with a focus on improving business processes.
• Facilitate discussions on financial reporting, compliance, tax regulations, and auditing requirements within the D365 Finance framework.
• Mentor and guide functional and technical consultants within the team, ensuring knowledge transfer and development.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Keep up to date with Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 Finance roadmap, providing innovative solutions and recommendations.
• Explore emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, analytics) and assess their impact on finance processes and workflows.
• Use tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and AI-driven insights to streamline reporting and optimize financial workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• At least 8 years of experience in ERP implementations, specifically within financial management systems.
• Extensive knowledge of D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Tax Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience in designing and implementing financial reporting structures, cost allocations, and intercompany accounting.
• Solid understanding of data migration processes, system integrations (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, Data Entities, APIs), and customizations.
• Experience working with multinational financial operations, including managing multi-currency setups, tax regulations, and legal entities.
• Strong ability to map finance business processes and propose system enhancements for increased efficiency.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in communication, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Experience working in agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to mentor junior consultants and transfer knowledge to build team capabilities.

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert
