Do you enjoy project management and collaborating between various parties? We are now looking for a project manager focused on exercises for the Cyber Defense Command. The Swedish Armed Forces plays a central role in the development and strengthening of Sweden's cyber defense. This development is part of the overall effort to strengthen total defense and the operational capability of the Armed Forces. The Armed Forces' systems are subjected to stresses from foreign actors on a daily basis.

In the Armed Forces, there is a strong value base that encompasses both professional development and personal health. Some of what we offer includes training, seminars, and certifications based on the needs of the organization. We provide training during working hours for 3 hours per week and reimbursement for entry fees. A good balance between work and personal life is important to us. We also have flexible working hours and additional parental pay during parental leave and VAB.

Main Responsibilities

As a project manager for exercises in the Cyber Defense Command, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating national and international cyber exercises in which the cyber defense participates. You will work together with others in the section on all aspects required to create good conditions for training personnel.

You will be responsible for several exercises where you will act as the contact person both nationally and internationally. The role requires you to be able to work independently to drive the exercise projects forward. You will collaborate within and outside the Armed Forces. You will also participate in the development of new exercises, lead and participate in planning conferences, and provide support to other activities conducted by the Cyber Defense Command.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in project management. We expect you to have good computer skills and a certain technical understanding, especially in the IT field. A high school education or equivalent is a basic requirement for this position. You must be fluent in both Swedish and English. A driver's license (B) is required, and travel is part of the job.

Meritorious

Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces or another government agency, for example through previous employment or completed basic military training, is an advantage. It is beneficial to have experience working in a rapidly growing organization and to be accustomed to working independently.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is unpretentious, enjoys working in a team, and has good collaboration skills. You are structured but have the ability to take initiative and find solutions. We see you as a confident and stable person with high integrity. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Permanent employment, full-time, and a 6-month probationary period apply, with start date according to agreement. The workplace is in Stockholm. The position is classified in a security class, and we will conduct a security assessment with a background check according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
