Project Manager for Local Network Investments in Stockholm
Ellevio is one of Sweden's largest energy companies and thus an important enabler of the climate transition. By 2045, electricity consumption in Sweden is expected to more than double. This means that investments in our electricity grid are among the most important things we do. We are undertaking extensive investment projects to modernize, digitize, weatherproof, and expand the electricity grids, as well as create conditions for the connection of new fossil-free production. We believe in a bright and sustainable future, do you?
About the role as Project Manager for Local Network Investments in Stockholm
As a Project Manager, you play a key role in the development of Stockholm's electricity grid with responsibility for the southern suburbs. You are responsible for a project portfolio and lead a team of approximately 15-20 employees (staff and consultants), consisting of project managers and construction managers. An important part of your work is to allocate projects within the group to ensure that the portfolio's goals are achieved. To create good deliveries, you work with the team to streamline and improve processes and routines.
In close collaboration with production managers, you are responsible for resource allocation, planning, and follow-up of the project portfolio from decision to completed grid. You have budget responsibility for your department and ensure that operations are conducted in an efficient and sustainable manner.
As part of the management team for Programs and Projects in Stockholm, you contribute to both the operational and strategic development of your department and unit. You also collaborate closely with other project managers to jointly strengthen and support each other's teams. In the role, you have a broad network, both internally with colleagues in related departments and externally with contractors, customers, and other stakeholders. You also act as a representative in the larger projects driven within your group.
About you
We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, structured, and has a strong drive. You thrive in a leadership role and have the ability to engage and develop your employees. To succeed in the role, we believe you have a technical education at the university or engineering level, preferably in electrical power, or have equivalent work experience. You have a good understanding of project operations and know how to run projects. Previous leadership experience is an important part of the role, and we would like you to have experience working with project tools. Since the role involves many points of contact, you need to be clear in your communication and have an easy time collaborating.
We see it as an advantage if you have experience in project management, as well as in industries such as construction, infrastructure, or energy. If you have also worked in the electricity grid industry, that is even more meritorious. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and hold a B driver's license. Knowledge of work environment coordination (BAS-P and BAS-U) and contract law is also something we value highly.
Ellevio as an employer

Only then can we together achieve our vision of a bright and sustainable future. With us, you have great opportunities to influence the company as a whole and your own career. A fine proof of this is that we have been named a Career Company for the fifth consecutive year!
We are constantly working for a sustainable and developing work climate where equality, diversity, and inclusion are a given. For example, there is the ELLE network, Ellevio's internal women's network, and we train all employees in collective intelligence to create conditions for increased collaboration and well-being.
