The HR office works as an internal consultant for the municipality's departments, providing advice and support in HR-related matters. We offer qualified support and advice on issues concerning personnel, organization, and work environment. Our municipality-wide responsibilities include payroll management, work environment, labor law, health-promoting initiatives, rehabilitation, gender equality, and leadership development.

Our office consists of 23 employees, divided into a personnel unit and a payroll unit, who together contribute to creating a sustainable and attractive workplace for current and future employees.

As a payroll consultant at Sandviken Municipality, you will be part of a team of 12 competent colleagues who, together with the payroll manager, drive continuous improvements. We focus on customer orientation and strive to provide the best service, information, and support to managers and employees. We place great importance on the further development of processes, routines, and our IT support tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a payroll consultant with us, you will have a central role in the entire payroll process. Your tasks will be varied and include both traditional payroll administration and providing qualified support to managers and employees on payroll-related issues based on applicable laws and agreements.

You will work closely with the operations and have a consultative role where you support managers and other users in both system and payroll issues. We always strive to develop and improve our processes, and you will be an important part of our work to streamline and ensure the quality of payroll management.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you need to be confident and knowledgeable about the entire payroll process. You have relevant post-secondary education in the payroll area, and it is advantageous if you have experience in payroll work within the municipal agreement area. If you also have experience with the personnel system Personec P and Time Care, that is a plus.

We are looking for someone with excellent collaboration skills who enjoys working both independently and in a team. You are meticulous, structured, and have an easy time building good relationships. Additionally, you are communicative and express yourself well in both speech and writing. We also value your initiative and commitment to drive the work forward effectively.
