Administrator at Government Agency Wanted

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for a consultant who has experience working as an administrator within a government agency. This is a full-time position for an initial 6 months with a good chance of extension for another 12 months. There is no possibility for remote work within this assignment.

This is a security-classified position, which means you will undergo a security review with a background check before any employment and assignment start can take place.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • independent work based on guidelines and practices
  • develop proposals, such as decision support
  • plan and follow up on cases
  • investigate, review, and process cases, as well as make decisions in simpler matters.
  • analyze and evaluate tasks and projects
  • work of an investigative and/or coordinating nature
  • work with office service/internal service
  • process fault reports in the premises and report to the manager
  • Handle mail and packages including registered mail
  • check access and receive visitors at the reception
  • document actions

The assignment is placed within the Administration Unit, which belongs to the Department of Property and Security at the Swedish Agency for Government Services.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • high school or equivalent education in a relevant field
  • at least four (4) years of work experience from similar work
  • knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
  • able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • basic knowledge of case management systems

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • You are structured, driven, and goal-oriented and can deliver within agreed deadlines.
  • You have the ability to work independently and build a network with relevant stakeholders within the agency and its suppliers.
  • Very communicative ability and the ability to work in a team.
  • You have analytical skills and can create a good overview of your work.
  • You have the ability to proactively suggest improvements in the area.
  • You are meticulous and understand the importance of deliveries matching placed orders.
  • You are quality-conscious and work for high customer satisfaction.
