We are currently looking for someone to strengthen our team in the area of southern Stockholm at the Control and Calibration department!

About us The Control and Calibration department within RISE offers measurement technical services to both industry and commerce. Calibration and recurring checks of various measuring instruments are the foundation of our broad range of services. The majority of our operations consist of accredited services, and we also work as a notified body. Control and calibration primarily operate under ISO 17025 and 17020. There is a high demand for our services, and the business is growing. Our specialized employees in the field are spread across the country, from Luleå to Malmö. In total, we are about 15 people within the Verification North unit to which you will belong.

About the role Your main tasks will be calibration and recurring checks of fuel pumps and scales in retail and industry. The checks are performed on-site at our customers' locations. An important part of the job involves being responsible for contact and developing relationships with new and existing customers. It may also become relevant to work with measuring charging stations in the field in the long term, an area that has grown enormously in Sweden recently.

We offer an independent job with great opportunities for influence where you plan your work based on the needs of the business. All training is conducted internally with the help of experienced colleagues. The introduction takes place in several different locations in Sweden, and during the first year, several training sessions will occur to learn the profession in the best way. Your colleagues in the Stockholm district together with you form a team. You will work from your home, which will be your base, and therefore you should have your residence in southern Stockholm. Travel for work occurs almost daily since most of what we do is out in the field.

Who are you? To succeed in this role, you have a technical education at the high school or university level. You have several years of work experience as a traveling service technician/service engineer or installer where you have had daily meetings with customers. It is advantageous if you have previous experience from testing and calibration operations and from similar activities within control/calibration. It is also beneficial if you have experience working with scales, fuel pumps, or volume meters. If you have qualifications or competence in electrical work, that is a plus. A driver's license B is required, and B96 and BE are advantageous. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

As a person, you are quality-conscious and have a strong customer focus. You are business-oriented and trustworthy. You thrive in a varied and independent work environment. You have good social skills and are skilled at building relationships. Furthermore, you need to have a good ability to independently plan and follow up on work, be goal-oriented, and have a structured approach to work. A good technical understanding is necessary, and you are not afraid to tackle tasks you have not encountered before.

Welcome with your application! If you want to know more, please contact Martin Nyström, Unit Manager Verification North, +46 10 516 61 10 or Jens Möller, Group Manager Verification Stockholm, +46 10 516 61 41.
