This is your mission

Within the Security Police's area of operations for cyber technology, the agency's experts in offensive IT security and technical vulnerability analysis gather.

Your work aims to develop tools for collecting information needed in the Security Police's intelligence and investigation work.

As an iOS developer, you will work in a team with competent and engaged colleagues who work closely together, where all skills are needed and where we learn from each other.

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle management, from design to maintenance, which means there is a great opportunity to influence and drive the work forward. We work closely with users, allowing for quick adjustments based on operational needs.

Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna, and the work is performed on-site, which means you cannot work remotely. Travel within Sweden may occur.

The qualifications we are looking for

Only those who meet the requirements below will be considered for the position.

Requirements:

• Degree in civil or engineering, e.g., computer engineering, technical physics, or IT security, or other experience and knowledge deemed equivalent by the Security Police for the position
• At least three years of experience in software development, with at least one year for iOS
• Good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish and English

The employment requires Swedish citizenship.

As an applicant, you may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:

• Experience in low-level programming
• Experience in developing and debugging drivers and kernel
• Experience in networking and network programming
• Experience in security audits and vulnerability analysis

The Security Police places high demands on security and confidentiality, so we expect you to have a strong security awareness.

Employment conditions

Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with the Security Police involves placement in a security class. A satisfactory result in the security screening with a background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act, is also required for employment.

This is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. We apply individual salary setting. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime.
