We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant to a woman in her 40s, who is in a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury.

The woman lives in Nora with her cat.

The job includes everything from personal care, intimate hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, assistance with leisure activities, and daily tasks, etc. The user also has a cognitive disability that is not visible to others, but as an assistant, it is important to respond appropriately.

You must also be able to adapt to the individual's own pace, which varies from day to day. She participates in many leisure activities, and as an assistant, you will accompany her to all of them.

The workplace is in the individual's home and wherever the individual may be.

Working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, weekdays, as well as full days on weekends. The shifts include shorter morning shifts and longer afternoon shifts, and it varies, so you should be able to work both. We would also like you to be able to work with short notice when needed, due to illness, etc.

We are looking for hourly substitutes, which can lead to a more permanent position.

We prefer that you who apply for the position have a flexible and independent working style and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good documentation skills and maintain a professional attitude. You who apply have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people.

Other qualities that are beneficial for the job include a good sense of humor, calmness, patience, and being responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important.
