Servicedesk - IT Support

Are you driven by solving technical problems and providing first-class service? Do you have a strong interest in IT and want to be part of a team where you can develop? Then you might be the one we are looking for in our Servicedesk!

Who are we?

Norrköping Municipality has high ambitions regarding digitalization and actively works to find modern and innovative solutions for the municipality's residents and operations. In the Department of Digitalization and IT, we are about 100 employees working with support, operations, management, and development of the municipality's IT environment.

IT Customer Service is one of the units in the department and consists of three parts: Backoffice, Local Service, and Servicedesk. Within the Servicedesk, we work at two levels – 1st Line and 2nd Line – and we are an important function for the municipality's approximately 12,000 users.

We are now looking for a new colleague to our team and welcome either you who want to work in 1st Line or you who want to work in our 2nd Line.

Your tasks

As part of the Servicedesk, you will have a central role in supporting the municipality's operations by handling IT-related cases. Working in 1st Line means that you receive calls and emails from users, where you solve questions that can range from password changes and simpler troubleshooting of computers to managing user accounts. You will also document cases and contribute to our knowledge database by keeping existing articles updated.

For those working in 2nd Line, the role involves taking over where 1st Line cannot resolve the issue. Here, it becomes more advanced troubleshooting and technical problem-solving where you methodically analyze and handle the more complex challenges of the IT environment. In some cases, it may also involve escalating cases to other units for further handling.

Regardless of which role you work in, you will be part of a close-knit team where service, knowledge transfer, and collaboration are central parts of everyday life.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education, preferably in IT, or someone who has previously worked in support and truly enjoys delivering good service. We see that you have experience working in a case management system and have knowledge of AD, Windows 10/11, Exchange, O365, and Azure. For a role in 2nd Line, you should have experience in methodical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Competence in Intune and basic knowledge of networks is considered an advantage.

You have a strong interest in IT and technology, good social skills, and a genuine commitment to service. You are solution-oriented, methodical, and can work effectively even when the pace is high. Collaboration is a given for you, and you take the initiative to develop both working methods and the service we deliver.

Whether you have previous experience working in an IT servicedesk or are a technically interested problem-solver with a focus on service, we would love to hear from you.

Welcome with your application!
