We are now seeking a teacher for the after-school program at Väse School.

Väse School is a school with approximately 160 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as an after-school program. The school is centrally located in Väse, next to Väse IP, with proximity to several green areas and other spaces that provide good opportunities for varied outdoor activities. It is important to us that our students succeed. We work to create accessible learning environments where students receive guidance, stimulation, and support to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development and personal growth. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in the after-school program, you will be part of a team consisting of primary school teachers, after-school educators, and student assistants who regularly meet to plan and develop the activities. You will perform your work both in the after-school program and in the school. Together with your colleagues, you will conduct pedagogical and meaningful teaching that challenges and stimulates students to learn both indoors and outdoors. The position will also include the opportunity to teach physical education and health.

The work as a teacher in the after-school program is creative, varied, and requires a solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications

Licensed teacher with a focus on after-school programs. Qualification in physical education and health is an advantage.

Based on your clear and conscious leadership and experience, you create an open and safe environment where everyone feels included. You have high social competence and a clear desire to develop both yourself and the organization you work in together with colleagues and management. As a person, you have a good ability to create and maintain relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
