Your Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a business-driven job consultant for Clockwork at our office in Umeå, who will focus on building networks, creating relationships with employers, and supporting and guiding our candidates through the entire process of finding suitable work or studies. What does a job consultant do with us? As a job consultant, you will guide and simplify the path for our candidates to enter work or studies. You do this by equipping our candidates with increased knowledge about the labor market and methods that enable them to quickly return to the labor market or choose studies that will lead to work. You will also have conversations with employers, recruiters, and schools to match candidates with relevant jobs or training and convey their profiles and CVs to potential employers. In your role, you will, among other things:

• Actively work with employers and study coordinators to ensure that our job seekers get employment as soon as possible. This means both developing existing customer relationships and, above all, daily processing new customers that match the job seekers you work with.
• Have individual conversations with job seekers to map their profiles and provide the best conditions for the participant to get employment or start studies.
• Help create a professional CV and cover letter tailored for different job applications, interview training, assist candidates in job searching, etc.
• Hold seminars to increase candidates' knowledge about the labor market and provide them with the right tools for effective job searching.
• Work systematically in various business systems.

Your Profile

This role also requires you to have good communication skills in Swedish and English. If you master more languages, it is a strong merit. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people – both job seekers and entrepreneurs. You like to work in a fast-paced environment and are constantly seeking new business opportunities. A B driver's license and driving experience are a requirement. The most important thing is your attitude and ability to create good relationships. As a person, you are creative and can think outside the box to find solutions to our candidates' challenges and to find suitable employers for the candidates. We also see that you are action-oriented, unpretentious, and value a dynamic everyday life. Supporting and leading people to a better future is something that is close to your heart. To work as a job consultant, you must meet one of these requirements:

• A completed post-secondary education with 180 credits and at least two years of documented full-time work experience, or:
• At least one (1) year of full-time studies at the post-secondary level with at least a passing grade. Work experience with at least three (3) years of documented work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or tasks:
• Leadership with personnel responsibility.
• Recruitment.
• Transition work for job seekers.
• Career and educational guidance.
• Handling personnel issues (not just personnel administration).
• Work with labor and labor market issues.
• Work with social and group psychology.
• Career guidance.
