We are an oncology inpatient department that is now expanding our operations and growing! Therefore, we are looking for you! You are an experienced nurse, and we welcome you to a new era at our highly specialized department at Karolinska! As part of the Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Center, we are a world-leading oncology inpatient department that combines knowledge and experience to deliver care of the absolute highest quality.

You are offered
- the opportunity to take a general oncology course of 7.5 credits, further education as a specialist nurse with paid salary, and several other relevant training opportunities based on your interests.
- chemotherapy certification
- an individually tailored introduction based on a well-developed introduction program, based on your prior knowledge and conditions. You will also participate in two introductory days and deepening days at Theme Cancer.
- the opportunity to develop your skills in nursing and oncology in a research-intensive environment
- present leadership from the nursing manager and collaboration with a clinical nursing leader in daily work.

About the position
We are an oncology inpatient department and part of the Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is world-leading in cancer care and research.
At our Lung Oncology department, patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, and sarcoma are treated for diseases related to tumor diseases and side effects arising from cancer treatment. We work with patients who come in through emergency flow, so every day is unique and varied. This diversity gives you as a nurse a broad knowledge base and the opportunity to develop in leading nursing work.

The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend work according to the 24/7 agreement.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Swedish licensed nurse
- Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
Meritorious:
- Specialist nurse in a relevant field
- Experience working with oncology
- Experience in inpatient care

Cancer Theme is one of the largest areas within the hospital. We investigate, treat, and care for patients with some form of malignant tumor disease as well as benign hematology and coagulation disorders.
