You are offered

• the opportunity to take a general oncology course of 7.5 credits, further education as a specialist nurse with paid salary, and several other relevant training opportunities based on your interests.

About the position

We are an oncology inpatient department and part of the Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is world-leading in cancer care and research.

At our Lung Oncology department, patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, and sarcoma are treated for diseases related to tumor diseases and side effects arising from cancer treatment. We work with patients who come in through emergency flow, so every day is unique and varied. This diversity gives you as a nurse a broad knowledge base and the opportunity to develop in leading nursing work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Swedish licensed nurse
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Specialist nurse in a relevant field
• Experience working with oncology
• Experience in inpatient care

Cancer Theme is one of the largest areas within the hospital. We investigate, treat, and care for patients with some form of malignant tumor disease as well as benign hematology and coagulation disorders.
