Do you want to work in a coastal and family-oriented healthcare environment where you can truly make a difference? We are now looking for a dedicated occupational therapist for our geriatric ward in Nynäshamn.

We are a general geriatric inpatient ward with 22 beds. Here, patients are treated for infections, cardiovascular diseases, COPD, diabetes, and rehabilitation after strokes or orthopedic trauma. We work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Together, we strive to provide patients with the best possible care and rehabilitation.

Your role:

As an occupational therapist with us, you play a vital role in the rehabilitation of patients. Your tasks include:

- Assessment of activity ability and need for assistive devices

- Training and adaptation of daily activities

- Prescription and fitting of assistive devices

- Fall prevention and ergonomic advice

- Collaboration with the team and planning of discharge

We are looking for someone who:

- Is a licensed occupational therapist

- Has experience in geriatric care (preferred but not required)

- Is engaged and has a rehabilitative approach

- Has good ability to collaborate and communicate in a team

- Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
