The position is located at the Pain Clinic where we have contact with patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. The clinic employs doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and administrative staff. We work with patients in outpatient care and consultatively towards somatic inpatient care.

As a specialist nurse with us, you will primarily work with:

Inpatient care: Daily pain rounds of patients with advanced pain relief via pain pumps (e.g., EDA, peripheral nerve block, PCA). Nurse consultations within inpatient care. Team consultations of inpatient patients on referral. Training of nurses in Competence Card pain: advanced pain management in theory, routines, and practical handling of pain pumps (CADD-Solis). Have a supportive role regarding advanced pain management via pump in all operating units. “Bedside” teaching, lectures, and workshops as needed. Follow-up and revision of routines. Be a member of the hospital's specialist group for pain.

Outpatient care Conduct medication and other treatment follow-ups via phone, video, or 1177. Treat various pain conditions with blocks using botulinum toxin, after training.

We are looking for a licensed specialist nurse, preferably with a focus on anesthesia or intensive care. We would like you to have several years of experience working as a specialist nurse and preferably also in surgical nursing. We are looking for someone who is proactive and positive, used to working independently but also enjoys working in a team. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
