We are looking for a specialist in pediatric and adolescent medicine who wants to become part of our knowledgeable and dedicated team at Sachsska BUM in Handen – a pediatric clinic affiliated with BUM in Stockholm!

We are a well-functioning pediatric and adolescent medical reception (care choice BUM) that belongs to Sachsska Children’s and Adolescent Hospital, Södersjukhuset.

Our patients mainly reside in the municipalities of Tyresö, Haninge, and Nynäshamn. We are located in pleasant and child-friendly premises at Handen Hospital. Our clinic employs pediatricians, pediatric nurses, medical secretaries, and psychologists. We also have students and residents in pediatrics and general medicine working with us.

Job Description

We meet children and adolescents aged 0 - 17 years with a broad general pediatric spectrum of diseases, disabilities, and symptoms. Here, you will utilize your entire general pediatric competence, your commitment, and your ability to see the holistic perspective. Our patients come from many different backgrounds, and we value an open, attentive, and cross-cultural approach.

We treat our patients in close collaboration with the specialists at the children's hospital and can thus also handle more complex and unusual medical questions. We also participate in the hospital's continuing education and professional development and have time set aside each week for internal case discussions.

As a pediatrician with us, you will engage in your own outpatient work, mentoring colleagues and students, and further developing the operations. You will work both independently and as part of a team.

You will also perform examinations at Södersjukhuset's maternity wards on occasional holidays (daytime). If you wish, there is an opportunity for regular work as a pediatric consultant at BVC.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in pediatric and adolescent medicine or is expected to become a certified specialist within the next 6 months. A specialist certificate is required upon commencement of employment.

You have a strong commitment to the health of children and adolescents and enjoy working broadly within pediatrics. Experience from working at BUM or equivalent is meritorious.

As a person, you are flexible, unpretentious, and curious, and you have good collaboration with colleagues and families. You are pedagogical and appreciate the opportunity to influence and develop with the best interests of the children in focus. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
