About the position
The Medical Unit of Health Professions plays an important role in the care provided at Karolinska University Hospital. Here, we have occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, supply managers, administrators, social workers, psychologists, dietitians, and speech therapists. Supervising students is a natural part of your role. Your tasks will also include contributing to the development of care programs and workflows based on evidence and patient needs.
We are now looking for a specialist physiotherapist in the area of cardiology:
In cardiology, you will work in our inpatient care where we meet patients in cardiology, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery. In our outpatient care, we conduct cardiac rehabilitation according to national guidelines focusing on assessing patients' abilities and group training.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist with permission to practice within the Swedish healthcare system.
Desirable:
- Experience working in acute care
- Master's degree
- Specialist competence in the field
- Previous experience and interest in working with patients in the area
