Capio S:t Görans Hospital
At Capio S:t Görans Hospital, you work at the center of events, in a 'just right' sized hospital with a strong sense of community, approximately 2,500 proud employees and satisfied patients. We are a hospital with high quality, a well-functioning organization with short decision-making paths and managers who are present in everyday life. We always want to develop, provide better and more efficient care to our patients, but also take care of you, utilize your ideas, your skills, and help you grow.
About us
The Pain Clinic at Capio S:t Görans Hospital is one of the country's leading players in the pain field, and we are now hiring a psychologist to help continue the development of Swedish healthcare.
The Pain Clinic receives patients from all over the country for assessment and treatment of complex pain conditions. The work is carried out in multimodal teams, and the clinic consists of pain physicians, physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
Your role
The position involves clinical work, primarily assessments in consultation with other team members, planning treatment together with the patient and the rest of the team, and treatment interventions. The tasks also include operational and quality development.
We offer you
A position with the opportunity to make a difference in somatic care and develop this together with us.
- Qualified supervision
- Professional development, both internally and externally
- Collective agreement
- Wellness allowance
- As an employee, you have free access to our gym
About you
You are a licensed psychologist with knowledge of behavioral interventions (CBT, ACT) and preferably experience or knowledge of the significance of psychological factors in pain as well as experience or knowledge of digital interventions.
You may have previous experience in treatment research, preferably related to digital interventions and pain (or similar conditions) and behavior. Experience and/or knowledge of single-case experimental design and individual-based data analyses is an advantage, as well as experience in psychological treatment of patients undergoing cancer treatment.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to develop the care of patients with chronic pain together with us at the clinic, who is analytical and skilled at managing complex collaborations at the interface between healthcare and academia. We appreciate if you have broad clinical experience and are accustomed to teamwork. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, including the ability to work independently and lead projects.
PTP
Even non-licensed individuals with a psychology degree are welcome to apply. As a PTP psychologist with us, you will receive a broad introduction to the psychology profession. As a PTP psychologist, you will participate in all aspects of psychological work, which includes assessment, treatment, and method development.
Research
Depending on the circumstances, there may be an opportunity to combine the clinical position with a doctoral position, as a doctoral position at KI is being advertised in parallel with this position (see separate ad).
We kindly but firmly request no direct contact with staffing and recruitment companies or sellers of job advertisements.
Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
