The Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders, accepting patients of all ages.

We have a well-developed operation with outpatient care, day care, and inpatient care for adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have over 250 employees, and we have expanded significantly during 2024 and will continue to do so in 2025. From March 2025, all three of our inpatient care departments will be located at Danderyd Hospital, while outpatient care will remain in Södermalm, Stockholm.

One PTP position will be allocated to the Assessment and Investigation Unit, whose mission is to conduct psychiatric and in-depth eating disorder assessments for both children and adults prior to treatment. The other PTP position will be allocated to the Digital Care Unit, whose mission is to offer digital care for both children and adults with eating disorders.

You will have a supervisor who is an experienced psychologist with whom you will have individual supervision. You will also participate in the Region Stockholm PTP program, but we will also have a local PTP program at SCÄ where you can influence the content. In addition, you will of course be invited to attend the lectures that SCÄ offers to all its employees.

Job Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities at the Assessment and Investigation Unit will be to conduct psychiatric assessments and in-depth eating disorder assessments, as well as care planning and collaboration. In Digital Care, the main task will be to provide digital and “blended” care and possibly participate in projects related to digital care development.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in psychology.
  • Experience in eating disorder care.
  • For the position at the Assessment and Investigation Unit, psychiatric assessment experience is advantageous.
  • For the position in Digital Care, competence in internet treatment and digital care development is advantageous.

Personal Qualities:

You have good collaboration skills, take responsibility, and are curious about what eating disorder care is. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type

Temporary employment. Full-time 40 hours/week. Daytime, Monday to Friday.

  • Background checks will be applied before a hiring decision according to applicable guidelines.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
