Operational Coordinator in Region Stockholm's Prehospital Care
Do you want to help drive and develop the role of Operational Coordinator, where you have a key function in Region Stockholm's prehospital care? Have you worked in the ambulance service for several years? Then we would love to receive your application!
We are now looking for prehospital experienced nurses or paramedics to work in the role of Operational Coordinator, which AISAB has been commissioned to staff by the health and medical care administration in Region Stockholm.
The function is staffed around the clock and is located at the SOS central in Stockholm. There is an opportunity for rotation with clinical duties where you can advantageously rotate with the medical management.
You will start with an introductory training and will continuously attend targeted training to strengthen your competence in the area.
Your Responsibilities
As an Operational Coordinator, you are Region Stockholm's representative in the PoD service. OPK contributes with a prehospital perspective and current knowledge of the region's organization. You collaborate with PHB directors, the region's other health and medical care, as well as other authorities and actors to achieve high availability and good redundancy for prehospital care.
In both everyday and special events, you as OPK are a support to directors and TiB and establish a staff as needed together with collaborating authorities and actors.
Formal Competence Requirements
- Nurse or paramedic with several years of clinical experience in Region Stockholm's ambulance care.
- Very good knowledge of TiB and its mission.
- Good knowledge of the medical treatment guidelines and prehospital directives applicable to ambulance care in Stockholm.
- Familiar with Region Stockholm's disaster medical plan and good knowledge of 1177 Vårdguiden and Vårdgivarguiden.
- Desirable that you have completed training according to requirement 1.13.1. for the position of prehospital special medical management, such as A-HLR adult and child, PS, CBRNE, RN, APP, PHTLS, AMLS, PEPP, and PDV.
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English.
Competence
The work as an operational coordinator places high demands on personal maturity and security in the professional role. You are calm and stable and can make decisions even under stress. You are given great responsibility, both in everyday life and in special events, and use your experience and security to work independently and problem-solve. It is important that you have good collaboration skills, are attentive, and unpretentious. Furthermore, you are clear in your communication, structured, and trustworthy.
You put the patient's needs at the center and consider the whole when you act and make decisions based on the best interests of the organization. Furthermore, you are an ambassador for prehospital care and are well acquainted with the organization's methods and governing directives.
You have a drive to develop ambulance care and possess a flexible approach. We expect you to contribute to the further development of the function as both the scope of the assignment and working hours may change over time.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Other

The position is classified in a security class, which means that a security review with register and background checks will be conducted for final candidates in the recruitment process before a hiring decision is made.
