We are now looking for summer substitutes at Villa Näs in Åkersberga for the summer of 2025. You will receive introductory training with valuable knowledge about care and service.

About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist who work closely together.

About Villa Näs

Villa Näs is located in one of Österåker municipality's most beautiful areas with views over farmland and Täljövikens beach meadows.

Villa Näs is a residence with a total of 60 places. The building is three stories high with two departments per floor and common areas on the ground floor. Villa Näs has 40 places for the elderly with dementia and 20 care places.

• Dementia certification: We are under dementia certification, which means that all of us who work here have received training in dementia and response through the Dementia Academy.
• Needs-based wish schedule: We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you as an employee have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.
• Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Young Care. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Young Care does various activities together with us who work here, to add a special touch to the lives of the residents.
• Group managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operation. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
• Animals in care: Here we work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals.

Your experience and knowledge

We guess that you who are applying to us:

- are attracted to a job that is varied and requires great knowledge about care and support but also a talent for meeting people in different situations.

- are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility.

- enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant/care assistant or have equivalent experience in elderly care.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
