We now need to strengthen our team with nurses for the psychiatric outpatient clinic in Avesta! Our clinic caters to individuals aged 18 and older who require specialist psychiatric care. Common diagnoses include neuropsychiatric disorders, bipolar disorder, severe depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and schizophrenia.

We have doctors, nurses, caregivers, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries working with us. The content of psychiatric care is based on a holistic perspective that includes medical, psychological, and nursing interventions.

We want to strengthen the Avesta psychiatric clinic with more nurses.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for medication follow-ups, medication administration, telephone counseling, follow-up health-promoting conversations, coordination and collaboration with others such as the Social Insurance Agency, psychoeducation, establishing crisis and care plans, mapping patients' basic functions and networks. You will have your own visits for follow-up both at the clinic, digitally via Min Vård, and group treatments. The psychiatric outpatient clinic in Avesta is in a phase of change, and we are looking for someone who enjoys challenges and contributes new ideas.

In the division of psychiatry and habilitation, a reorganization is underway where outpatient care will become a joint operation. You will come to a workplace where you alternate between tasks with established routines and situations that require initiative and creativity. We want to develop teamwork and increase the number of digital visits, become more accessible to our patients, and offer interventions when needed. Therefore, you need to be able to work independently and in a team where you can contribute to good collaboration.

There is an opportunity for remote work one day a week and flexible working hours within the framework of the flexitime agreement, provided that the operations allow it. We will individually adapt the introduction based on your needs.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Specialist nurse with a focus on psychiatry
• Experience in psychiatric care
• Experience with the TakeCare or Cosmic journal system (to be implemented in autumn 2025)
• Computer skills
