JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are Gothenburg. Now we need you who want to work as a development and management leader within the services of pensions and benefits!

In your role, you, together with the unit manager, are responsible for coordinating, streamlining, and continuously improving the delivery of pension and benefits services. The services should support the management of the city's benefits and occupational pension administration, meet information security requirements, and contribute to digitalization and automation efforts for more efficient administration.

Central to the assignment for benefits is to develop and ensure the implementation of an annually revised management plan for the service. You lead a management team consisting of representatives from several units at Intraservice. Together, you plan, prioritize, and develop the work. You collaborate closely with management leaders for other HR services and other colleagues within the HR operational area. You also have a close collaboration with representatives from the City Management Office and HR representatives from the City of Gothenburg's departments and companies.

In the area of pensions, you are responsible for developing the operations together with the unit manager. In collaboration with the City Management Office, you implement the changes needed to follow and drive the operations forward. You work to ensure that knowledge and competence are shared between the unit and various organizations such as the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR) and smaller local and national networks.

You will also have a coordinating role in the unit where you are responsible for ensuring that training and competence development of employees in the unit occurs within pensions and benefits, as well as that follow-ups are conducted to ensure the quality of case handling.

You also represent the City of Gothenburg in dialogues with suppliers of IT support within the services. Together with the unit manager, you will also drive and develop the operations to consolidate new customers for the services that the unit is responsible for.

You will be employed as a development leader and placed in the Pensions and Benefits unit within the HR operational area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree or other post-secondary education that we consider relevant for the position. You also have experience working with pensions and/or benefits and leading others to achieve common results.

If you have worked at the interface between operations and IT and have experience with project work or working based on a management model, we see this as an advantage. Likewise, if you have worked in a larger organization and have experience with supplier contacts, information security work, and data protection. If you have experience working in the public sector, we believe this will also facilitate your work.

To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, see opportunities for change, and implement them. You can work independently but are also skilled in collaborating with others, where you can lead, motivate, and create participation to solve common tasks. Since training/competence development initiatives and follow-up of case handling occur in the position, you need to be both communicative and pedagogical and have the ability to lead the group towards a common goal.

OTHER

As an employee at Intraservice, you naturally share the City of Gothenburg's approach: we know our mission and who we are here for, we care, we work together, and we think innovatively. At Intraservice, you work in a knowledge organization that is constantly developing. With us, there is a high degree of complexity and breadth, as well as many exciting assignments and roles. Much of what we do involves large volumes, where you contribute to societal benefit for the city's operations and ultimately for the citizens. We work both operationally based and trust-based, offer flexible working hours, and strive for a balance between work and private life. With us, you receive several wellness benefits as well as other perks. Our goal is to be an attractive employer both today and in the future!

Some positions at Intraservice may be subject to military placement with general service obligation during heightened readiness or war.

As we have already made decisions regarding the recruitment channels we wish to use for this recruitment, we kindly but firmly ask not to be contacted for additional offers of competence mediation, advertising, and recruitment assistance.
