Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work with patients in regular and special housing. As an occupational therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work in a patient-centered manner. A large part of the job involves making individual functional and activity assessments, designing and implementing rehabilitation efforts together with patients and staff, as well as prescribing medical technical aids. The work also includes guidance and instruction to patients, relatives, and staff. The focus of the work lies in the multidisciplinary teamwork to create opportunities for our patients to feel safe and involved in their daily lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. You should have a good understanding of regional and municipal health care, as well as experience in the profession. Experience in multidisciplinary teamwork is an advantage, as well as a good understanding of future perspectives and developments in the care sector.

The assignment requires you to be able to work independently and have the ability to make decisions and assessments. The work also requires sensitivity and good collaboration skills. You should have good computer skills and experience in documenting in journal systems. The job requires you to have a B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
